Docket Nos. 50-461 and 50-462 Construction Permits No. CPPR-137 & CPPR-138 This is in reply to your letter of April 9,1981, whereby you forwarded IE Bulletin No. 81-02 which reported on the failures of some gate type valves to close against differential pressure.

Please be advised that none of the valves addressed in Bulletin No. 81-02 will be installed at the Clinton Power Station.
