Nuclear Reguistory Commission (the Commission) has issued Amendment No. 67 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-39, and Amendment No. 64 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-48 issued to the Commonwealth Edison Company (the licensee), which revised Techni-cal Specifications far operation of Zion Ste. tion, Units 1 and 2 (the facilities) located in Zion, Illincis. The amendments are effective as of the date of issuance.
The amendments revise the Technical Specifications by removing the rod bow penalty from the equ& tion used to calculate the radial peaking N
factor limit, F dH, Yh'e appTication for the amendments complies with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Commission's rules and regulations. The Commission has made appropriate l
findir.gs as required by the Act and the Connission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amendments. Prior public nctice of these amendments was not required since the amendments do not involve a significant hazards consideration.
