-UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION DOCKET NO.-50-317 BALTIM0RE GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has issued Amendment No. 56 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-53 issued to t altimore Gas and Electric Company, which revised Technical Specifications for operation of the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant, Unit No. I located in Calvert County, Maryland. The amendment was effective on May 27, 1981.
The amendment authorizes continued reactor operation until June 1, 1981 with the acoustic flow monitor for pressurizer safety valve RV-201 inoperable.

The application for the amendment complies with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Commission's rules and regulations. The Commission has made appropriate findings as required by the Act and the Commission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amendment. Prior hublic notice of the caendment.: s not required since the amendment does not involve a significant hazards consideration.
