This will ackr.owledge receipt of your letter dated June 9,1981, which discusses the items we brought to your attention in our letter dated May 14, 1981.
Your June 9,1981 letter did not contain the detailed information whi:h would describe acceptable corrective actions for the areas of noncompliance which we brought to your attention in our enforcement conference ar.d in the sut' sequent letter dated May 14, 1981.
It is requested that you address the following topics of concern in additional correspondence tc this office within 30 days.
Item B.
Your response should state that any future reports to comply with 10 CFR 20.405(a) will be filed in a timely manner, 2nd it should identify the individual who will be responsible for filing the reports.
Item C.
Your response should state that any future reports to comply with 10 CFR 20.409(b) will be filed in a timely manner, and it should ideratify the individual who will be responsible for filing the reports.
Item E.
The response should state that no technetium-99m containing more than 1 nicrocurie of molybdenum-99 per millicurie of technetium-992 will be administered to patients.
The response should describe the training that new nuclear medicine technicians will receive, and it should identify the individual who will be responsible for maintaining records of this training.
Item F.1. The response should state that dose calibrator linearity tests will be conducted on a quarterly basis in the future.
The individual who will be responsible for assuring that the tests 4
are carried out as required should be identified.
The frequency of the linearity test result reviews by the Radiation Safety Officer and the Radiation Safety Committee should be stated.

Item G.
The response should state that records will be maintained of all /uture discharges of radioactive material to the sanitary sewer system.
It should also state the frequency of the disposal record reviews to be conducted by the Radiation Safety /Radionuclide Committee.
We have adopted a new NRC enforcement policy, as described in the Federal Register Notice (45 FR 66754) dated October 7,1980. "ith the adoption of the policy we are requiring, under the authority of Section 182 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, that responses to Notices of Violations be submitted under oath or affirmation.
Therefore, the last paragraph of your letter should include a statement equivalent to the following:
"I certify that all information contained in this letter, including any supplements attached thereto, is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and belief."
