Accordingly, the following changes are made:

I.

Article I, Section E., Delineation of Contractor Tasks, th'e following is added as an additional subtask.

Task I - Foreign Licensing Standards and Practices, Subtask 3.

Compile and describe the following:

changes in these areas as a result of Three Mile

(b) Prepare detailed organization charts as well as description of functions of the various offices in the nuclear regulatory authority in each country listed; (c)

Prepare a detailed report on the total licensing procedures in each country listed to include an analysis of the licensing practice with an aim toward providing. understanding -of the underlying.

Prepare a report as to how the countries listed i

plan to handle the problem of waste management to include a discussion of any division of responsibility between the existing regulatory agency and other agencies; (e) Provide data--historical and projected--as to how long it takes to license and build a light water reactor in the countries listed.

Describe what parameters are used to define time interval including all major milestones, what defines an initial announcement and what are the major causes for delay.

Report Requirements In addition to the report requirements of the basic contract, a summary highlighting significant findings and conclusions for items under Subtask I.3 should be

Schedule

Subtask I.3 shall be completed within ten (10) months l

after the effective date of this modification."

II.

Article III - Consideration and Payment, Paragraph A. Estimated Cost and Fixed Fee, Subparagraph 1 is changed to read:

"1.

It is estimated that the total cost to the Commission for full performance of this contract will be $263,356.54 of which the sum of $242,320.80 represents the estimated reimbursable costs, and of which $21,036.54 represents the fixed fee."

"2.

Total funds currently available for payment and allotted to this contract are $214,946.54 of which $197,778.80 represents the estimated. reimbursable costs, and of which $17,167.74 represents the fixed fee."

III. The contract amount is hereby increased by $14,946.54 from $248,410.00 to

$263,356.54 by reason of this modification.
