Inspection on March 19-27, 1981 (Report No. 70-371/81-06)
Areas Inspected:
Physical Inventory Procedures, The inspection involved 154 inspector-hours onsite by three NRC inspectors and was begun during the regular hours.
Results: The licensee war found to be in compliance with NRC requirements within the area examined except for the following items:
1.
Failure to clean the Eridgeport machine of enriched uranium metal chips in accordance wfth the FNMC plan.
2.
Failure to tamper safe the caged area located in ICA-1 in accordance with the FNMC plan.
3.
Faillre by an employee to use the contamination monitor piior to l uving a contro11r.d area (MBA-3).
