SUBJECT:
FINDINGS RELATED TO THE PROPOSED IMPORT OF LOW-ENRICHED URANIUM FROM FRANCE-ISNM81012 Transnuclear, Inc., submitted an application dated June 17, 1981-
-for a license authorizing the import of 49,811 kilograms of
- anium, as UFg, enriched to 1.12% U-23S. The material will be packaged in 4909 Type B packages, IAEA/US/4909/B()F.
This proposed import is' essentially the same as previous imports of low-enriched UF6 and represents no material change in circumstances. from conditions and findings which existed at the time of the earlier im-ports, referince ISNM780017, ISNM80007, and others.
It is recommended that this license t,e issued.
