Dear Mr. Seyfrit:

In the above referenced report it was stated that corrective action on the subject deficiency would be submitted by June 30. This date was established based on Fisher Controls' shipment of replacement material. We have now been notified that these parts will be shipped in mid-August, 1981.

Based on the al.ove information, the final report will be submitted by September 30, 1981.

In the Interim Report for the subject Significant Construction Deficie 8h?'Nne (

commitment date to the USNRC for the Final Report was June 30, 1981. 1 Actuator serial numbers have been provided to G. H. Bettis Company for the corresponding valve numbers. G. H. Bettis has informed Ebasco that it will take approximately six weeks for delivery of replacement parts.

Due to this delay in delivery of parts and taking into consideration the time l

required for replacement, Ebasco respectfully requests an extensior. for sub-l mittal of the Final Report to the USNRC until September 30, 1981.
