50-328 NUREG-0737 Item II.F.1 Attachment 3 requires TVA to submit information regarding the design of the containment high-range radiation monitors to be installed at Sequoyah Nuclear Plant. The design of the containment high-range radiation monitors is essentially the same as that described in my letter to A. Schwencer dated July 8,1980 with the following changes.
1.
The monitors are specified to meet Regulatory Guide 1.97 Revision 2 requirements.
2.
Monitor ranges outlined in Table II.F.1-3 of NUREG-0737 are specified.
3 Equipment procurement dates have been slipped. The latest schedules for providing the addit 3 onal accident monitoring instrumentation l
required by NUREG-0737 are discussed in my letter to H. R. Denton dated l
June 8, 1981.
(Schedules given in my June 8,1981 letter for this instrumentation can be considered epplicable to both Sequoyah units.)
