Dear'Mr..Denton:
Pursuant to the requests'of References (a) and (c) and in accordance with the requirements of 10CFR50.90, Commonwealth Edison Company hereby requests a change to Facility Operating License Nos.
DPR-39 and DPR-48, Appendix A, Technical Specifications.
The purpose of this amendment is to adopt a Standardized Technical Specification provision to control water level when irradiated fuel is being moved.
Attachment A to this letter contains the proposed technical specification changes. explains the minor deviations from the model technical specifications provided in reference (a).
Pursuant to 10CFR170, Commonwealth Edison has determined that. the proposed changes constitute a Class I and a Class II
. amendment, The required $4,400.00 fee is enclosed.
The basis for this determination is that the amendment deals with a single safety issue.
