Dear Sir:

By letter dated July 1,1981, R. C. Youngdahl (Consumers Power) transmitted the Interim Data Report for the EPRI PWR Safety and Relief Valve Test Program. This report summarizes the test data collected to date on ralief and safety valves. Maine Yankee has two (2) Dresser 31533VX-21/2 relief valves, and three (3) Dresser 3-31709KA sa fety valves.

Relief and safety valves representative of the above valves are being tested in the EPRI program. Maine Yankee will submit evalua tion and other plant specific data on a schedule consistent with the R. C. Youngdahl letter of December 15, 1980, and modified on July 1, 1981.
