Dear Mr. Grier:
Per our initial response to NRC IE Bulletin 81-01, one safety related mechanical snubber was in service at that time.
This snubber was recently checked on June 2,1981 per the requirements of this bulletin and was found to be in good operating condition. As stated in our initial response, all new mechanical snubbers have been checked prior to instal-lation.
