w In the University's June 12, 1981 menorandum to you asking for a clarification of Mr. Hirsch's qualifications, the UCEA Cowil on Educational Development (CED) was doeM as "a student and faculty ccxmtittee... "
Mr. Hirsch has taken exception to that characterization of the ccmnittee and has requested that the Acti.ng Dean of CED advise University counsel of a core agr giate description of e
the ocmnittee. Amrd4ngly, the Acting Dean of CED has advised that it would be nere ppropriate to state that the CED is "a faculty ccrmtittee of the Academic Senate (at UCIA) which has student epresentatives... " Mr. Hirsch attaches some in g
