Dear !!r. Wilson:
We received your letter of March 12, 1981, transmitting a copy of the Summons and Complaint filed by Joseph and Geraldine Specchio.
Both the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the Department of Energy have responsibility for the administration of the Price-Anderson Act.
The fiRC's responsibilities under Price-Anderson extend only to facilities licensed under the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended.
Since the Specchio lawsuit would come under the DOE contractor indemnity program, any additional information or questions you may have should best be addressed to the DOE Office of General Counsel.
