Dear Mr. Youngbloco:
Altnough not solicited by the NRC Staff, Commonwealth Edison has conductec a review of the conformance of the LaSalle County Station oesign to Nuclear Regulatory Commission Regulations of safety significance.
This review is documented in tne enclosed report.
In addition to the information provided in tnat enclosure, conformance to 10 CFR 50 Appendix A, General Design Criteria For Nuclear Power Plants, is discussed in Chapter 3, Section 3.1.2 of the Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR); and the degree to which the Regulatory Positions of Division 1 Regulatory Guides tnrough RGl.123 have been applied, is discussed in Appendix 8 to the FSAR.
Furthermore, the methods by wnicn the applicable requirements of 10 CFR 73 related to physical security have oeen discussed previously in reports submitted and withheld from public disclosure under the provisions of 10 CFR 2.790.
The latest revision to that plan was suomitted in Reference (a).
