PROPOSED LICENSE TO EXPORT NUCLEAR COMPONENTS TO THE REPUBLIC OF rs0REA (XCOM0500)
On March c,1981, K-C Forest Products Corporation filed an application to export two range detector assemblies to South <orea for installation in the KORI 1 nuclear power plant. The applica'it has requested expeditious processing cf this export license request af. the components are ready for immediate shioment and are urgently required by the customer.
The sta has c;ncluded that the proposed export meets the reouirements of the Atonic Energy Act, as amended, and would not be inimical to tne common defense and security of the United States.
In view of the above considerations, the staf# issued inis license without the ner al 15-day waiting period.
