At the prehearing conference on September 10, 1980, Applicant's coun';el stated his expectation that he would be able to conclude discovery within sixty days (Tr. 399). Staff counsel responded that completion in sixty days was possible but that would be an absolute minimum (Tr. 402).
Applicant and Staff are now engaged in extensive discovery.
It appears to the Staff now that discovery will take substantially longer than sixty days.
We will report to the Board periodically the status of discovery proceedings.
