Dear Mr. Grier:
This letter transmits Duquesne Light Company's response to IE Bulletin 79-OlB for equipment in containment. This material represents the results of a comprehensive review of equipment qualification.
Qualification infor-mation and any changes to the Master List for equipment located outside containment will be provided in a future submittal.
The attached submittal consists of four appendices as follows:
1.
Westinghouse Affidavit, CAW-80-31 concerning the withholding of proprietary information from public disclosure.
2.
Master List (revised with respect to in-containment equipment).
3.
Qualification Worksheets which evaluate equipment against the D0R Guidelines (contains Proprietary Infomation).
4.
Revised System Component Evaluation Worksheets (Enclosure 3 of Bulletin 79-OlB) compiled in the required format (contains Proprietary Information).
Some information is still outstanding.
These items are noted in Appendices 3 and 4 and are being vigorously pursued. We will provide the additional information to you as it becomes available.

The affidavit sets forth the basis on which the information may be withheld from public disclosure by the Commission and addresses with specificity the considerations listed in paragraph (b) (4) of Section 2.790 of the Canaission's regulations.
Accordingly, it is respectfully requested that the information which is proprietary to Westinghouse be withheld from public disclosure in accor-dance with 10CFR Section 2.790 of the Commission's regulations.
Correspondence with respect to the proprietary aspects of this application for withholding or the supporting Westinghouse affidavit should reference CAW-80-31, and should be addressed to R. A. Wiesemann, Manager, Regulatory and Legislative Affairs, Westinghouse Electric Corporation, P. O. Box 355, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15230.
