Engineering Branch Due Date: February 11, 1980 Review Status: Complete Memorandum from G. Mazetis to V. Noonan dated January 29, 1980, transmitted proposed pressurization' limitations for TMI-1 during emergency conditions.
These limits are proposed for two EFPY of operation beyond June 1979.
Since TMI-l has operated for about 31/2 EFPY, this would make these limits effective for about 5 1/2 EFPY.
We have reviewed these limits and conclude that they are acceptable for 5 EFPY.
The "applicabilit"" notation on Figure 2 should be changed..to read "5 EFPY" in lieu of "2 EFPY after 6/79."
