Thank you for your letter of April 19, 1996, which responded to the comments and recommendations from our March 18, 1996, letter and review report concerning the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) radiation control program. Your responses provided detailed t
information on how you are addressing our recommendations.
Our letter indicated that 29 of 30 indicators were met by the NYSDEC. The i
actions you are taking to address our recommendation under the remaining indicator, " Technical Quality of Licensing Actions," will be reviewed as a part of our next program review.
