ORDER Before us is the February 27, 1990 motion of the NRC staff for an extension of the filing deadline, and an enlargement of the page limit, for its brief in response to appeals from LBP-89-32.
Specifically, the staff requests an extension to March 19, 1990, of the time within which to file its responsive brief and an enlargement to 160 pages of the seventy-page limit contained in the Rules of Practice.
The staff's motion is aranted.
In doing so, however, we note that in line with our earlier directives to intervenors, the staff should avoid duplicating the arguments contained in the applicants' brief in

those instances in which the staff agrees with applicants' position.
