This refers to the telephone conversation between you and Messrs. B. A. Berson and R. J. Caniano of this office on February 12, 1990, regarding arrangements for a meeting between you, members of. the NRC office and your client, American RadiolabeledChemicals(ARC). This meeting is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., (CST),
February 15, 1990 at.the NRC office at 799 Roosevelt Road, Building 4, Glen i
Ellyn, Illinois.
.The purpose of this meeting is to discuss your proposal for Limited Modification of Order Suspending Licenses Pending Hearing and Review of Order.
This proposal was submitted to the NRC Region III office'on January 26, 1990 and modified in a Februery 7,1990 letter. We would also like to' have you present the results of the evaluation of employee exposures and effluent releases in response.to the December 29, 1989 Confirmatory Action Letter.
As was discussed with you during the aforementioned telephone call, you. should be prepared to discuss and/or clarify certain issues which arose from our review of your submitted proposal. These issues are summarized in the enclosure to this letter.

In addition, please provide a description as to the type of degree which Ms.- Borcherding obtained from Gradwohl School of Medical Technology-(i.e., Associate, Bachelors,etc.).

NRC Involvement You indicated that the NRC would be provided with weekly reports L
regarding survey and bioassay data and the certifications of outgoing l-packages. Please be advised that these submittals are not required and, if sent, will be used for informational purposes only. The L
responsibility to periodically review these documents must be that of the Radiation Safety Officer and not the NRC.
