i-In. reference to your letter of January 18, 1990, please be advised-that the Department of Energy's (DOE) budget for FY 1990 and FY 1991 does not include any funds to 1;upport the conversion of the GE NTR to low enriched uranium.
i Our,first priority is to complete the conversion of university-based nuclear research reactors subject to the NRC rule with funds available to the Department.
