k This will acknowledge receipt of your letter dated January 12, 1990 in response to our Notice of Violation dated December 12, 1989. We have reviewed the reasons you presented for the violation occurring, along with your corrective actions which included successful reexamination, your stated intent to remain current in the Y. C. Sumer Licensed Operation Requalification process, and the reduced level of stress in your personal life. We find those tctions 19 be acceptable for this case and have no further questions. While the NRC is not generally concerned with a licensed operator's personal affairs, we are very concerned with their daily performance because of the direct impact on safe operation of the facility.

In this regard, as long as you retain your NRC License it is your continuing responsibility to conduct your personal aff airs in a manner that does not adversely impact your ability to safely perform ycur duties under that license.

Future inspections will include reviews of your performance of your duties.
