Dear Administrative Judges:
This is in further response to Judge Margulies' joint letter dated January, 17, 1990, to me and licensee's counsel. As I stated I would do in sqv January 26, 1990, letter to the Board, I have unsuccessfully attempted yesterday and today to reach Mr. Irving by telephone. Accordingly, the Staff respectfully suggests that a telephonic on the record Prehearing Conference be set up at the Board's convenience.
In the interim, by means of a copy of this letter, I am requesting licensee's counsel to contact me as soon as possible to discuss several ideas I have to amicably dispose of this proceeding.
