Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station Units 2 and 3-Technical Specifications Change Request 3..
Dear Sir:
Philadelphia Electric Company hereby submits Technical Specifications Change Request No.~89-17. in accordance with 10 CFR 50.90, requesting changes to Appendix A of.the Peach Botton Facility Operating Licenses. These changes would eliminate
-redundant testing requirements from Section 4.5, " Core and Containment Cooling Systems " of:the Technical Specifications.- Miscellaneous administrative changes are also requested.
^ Attachment 1 to this letter describes the proposed changes, and provides justification for the. changes. Attachment 2 contains the revised Technical Specifications pages. A copy of this letter and'each attachment has been mailed to T. M.'Gerusky of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental' Resources in accordance with 10 CFR 50.91(b)(1).
Because the Company believes that considerable safety and economic benefits will be realized by the changes proposed'in this application, we request that you-complete your review by May 31, 1990.
