The Toledo Edison Company is submitting, pursuant to 10CFR50.71, one (1)'
original plus ten copies of Revision 10 to the Updated Safety Analysis Report (USAR) for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit Number 1.

USAR, Revision 10 is an interim submittal, the purpose of which is limited to incorporation of comments made by the NRC during the review of Revision 9 to i
USAR Section 17.2.
These changes were discussed-vith members of the NRC staff on-October 19, 1989 and November 14, 1989. provides a summary I
description of the changes.
Certain changes made in Revision 9 to the USAR should have been considered reductions in commitment by Toledo Edison and as such should have been reviewed by your staff prior to implementation.
These changes have been i
discussed with your staff, found to be acceptable and concurrence was given pending review of this submittal. also summarizes these changes.
