Dear Sir:
l Supplement to License Change Application 187 By letter dated November 30, 1989, Portland General Electric Company (PCE) transmitted License Change Application (LCA) 187 requesting amendment of-Operating License NpF-1.
LCA 187 modifies the Technical Specification requirements for steam generators to allow tube repair by sleeving as an alternative to plugging. As noted in our letter, the Babcock and Wilcox report addressed sleeving only in the tubesheet region of the steam generator. We stated that a revised report would be submitted in January clearly Indicating changes that incorporate sleeving-in the tube support plate region. The revised Babcock and Wilcox report is~provided-as the enclosure.
As previously discussed in our letter of November 30, it is respectfully requested that the er.elosed technical report be withheld from public disclosure in accor6ance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Section 2.790.
