Subject:
Letter Contract No. NRC-04-90-058 Entitled, " Development of A Data Base for the Validation of Flow and Transport Models in Unsaturated Soils" The subject Letter Contract was effective November 13, 1989.
It was anticipated by the parties that a definitive contract would be executed on or before December 1,1989 (or by subsequent date mutually agreed upon in writing).
Pursuant to the terms of the Letter Contract, it is hereby mutually agreed that the definitization date shall be extended from December 1, 1989 to December 8, 1989.
The amount obligated by the Commission with respect to this contract remains at $20,000.00 and represents the maximum liability to the Commission in the event of failure to reach agreement on a definitive contract.
Al'1 other terms and conditions of the Letter Contract shall remain in effect.
Enclosed are two (2) copies of this letter which represents the supplemental agreement of the parties.
Please execute all three (3) copies of the agreement, retain one (1) fully executed copy for your own records, and return two (2) copies to me.
