Reference (a) provided the'results of a routine safeguards inspection conducted by Ms. G.M. Christoffer and Mr. T.J. Madeda of the NRC Region.III office from September 29, 1989 through November 15, 1989 of activities at Zion l
Nuclear Station.
Reference (a) indicated that certain activities appeared to
'be in violation of NRC requirements. Reference (a) requested a written response to a Severity Level IV violation. The Conanonwealth Edison response to the Notice of. Violation (NOV) is'provided in the Enclosure.
