In accordance with 10 CFR.50.90,:we are. enclosing a requested amendment to-l clitenses.DPR-77 and:DPR-79-to= change the TSs of SQN Unlts 1 and 2.

The 1 proposed change reflects the effects of the boron injection tank deactivation.

The proposed TS' change is identified in Enclosure 1.

The justification'for

-the-proposed TS' change is'provided in Enclosure 2.

A proposed determination of no significant hazards consideration performed pursuant to 10 CFR-50;92 is i

provided in Enclosure 3.

For your information, Enclosure =4 contains the exp_ected changes resulting from boron inje_ction-tank deactivation to SQN's

y Final _ Safety Analysis Report, Chapter 15 analyses.

This1TS' change is being. requested _for implementation during'the Unit 1. Cycle 4'

.andl Unit 2 Cycle 4 refueling outages. -To support the schedule, we request the approved _ Unit 1-amendment between-Apri1'I and May 15, 1990.

The approved Junit 2 amendment is expected to be required between October 15 and De cember.1, -.1990. TVA will keep NRC project management informed of any

. schedule changes through routine project review meetings.
