y ~ While moving radioactive material packages in the S-2 building, .the operator of the forklift dropped his butano lighter causing
- theEleakinglpropanaltank to explode.
The package he was Ltransporting is dropped:and breaks open. The explosion causes the. radioactive storage area to catch fire. The driver is seriously injured and1two co-workers in the area are also injured. Bela/ Gamma. contamination is dispersed throughout the S-2 building. 2 LThe_ Emergency officers, the Red Monitoring Team, the First Aid ' Team,cand-the' Fire Brigade Team will all be challenged in this dri'll. 4 four; requirement for an annual evacuation drill was satisfied on October,4, 1989 therefore, we will only assume that the plant y, evacuates.
