Response to Generic Letter 89-10 Gentlemen:
The purpose of' this letter is to provide Duquesne Light Company's response to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's letter,
" Safety-Related Motor-Operated Valve Testing and Surveillance (Generic Letter 89-10)",
dated June 28, 1989.
Item 1, Reporting Requirements of Generic Letter 89-10 requires that we advise'the l
NRC in writing, within 6 months of the date of the generic letter, that the schedule 'and recommendations of the generic letter will be met.
We are advising the NRC that we intend to meet the schedule and recommendations as provided in Generic Letter 89-10, and.any clarifications to the Staff's position will be provided on a timely basis.
