AEOD TECHNICAL REVIEW REPORT AE0D/T90 01 P
Tom Wolf and I prepared the attached TR to address the question of coverage i
by NPRDS for failures described in PNs.
Using all PNs from the first three months of 1989, about 100, we found 18 cases where one or more NPRDS reports would be expected. We also found matching NPRDS failure reports for 15 of the cases, or 80 percent.
This degree of rratching is comparable to earlier esti-mates based on matching against failures described in LERs.
i Please note that Table 1 of the TR contains plant specific NPRDS data and is considered proprietary.
