INSPECTION NO. 70-371/89-206 This refers to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC) nuclear material control and accounting. inspection conducted by R. L. Jackson and G. E. Gundersen of this office on December 4-8, 1989.. The inspection included a review of activities authorized for your Uncasv111e facility. At the conclusion of the inspection, i
the findings were discussed with those members of your staff identified in the enclosed Inspection Report Details (Enclosure 2),
Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation of activities in progress.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations or deviations were identified.
In accordance with Section 2.790(d) of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2 Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, documentation of the findings of your control and accounting procedures for the safeguarding of special nuclear-material are exempt from public disclosure; therefore, the enclosed inspection report details will not be placed in the Public Document Room.
