SUBJECT:
MEETING WITH NUMARC ON MAINTENANCE i
'On December 21, 1989, representatives from NRR, AEOD, RES, and the ED0's office net with NUMARC representatives to discuss the industry's " Draft Proposed Action Plan for Continued Improvement in Maintenance".
Those who attended the meeting are listed in. Enclosure 1.
A copy of the industry action plan and related documents discussed at the meeting are provided in Enclosure 2.
NUMARC intends to present a final proposal to the Conunission in late January 1990.
The staff will continue to hold discussions with NUMARC to ensure a continuing dialogue during the future developnent of the action plan and specifically to discuss maintenance accreditation and the development of an industry i
neintenance standard.
