Fitness for Duty Program, 10 CFR Part 26 Gentlemen:
Maine Yankee Atomic Power Company plans to implement a Fitness For Duty Program that conforms to the requirements and standards of 10 CFR Part 26 on January 3, 1990.
Maine Yankee will administer a chemical testing program to detect and deter any drug and alcohol abuse in accordance with gidelines established in Appendix A to Part 26 for pre-access and random testing..
' A lower cutoff and broader panel of substances will be applied when testing is'done for:
i For Cause Test
- post accident
- observed behavior
- credible information i
Follow-up Test (unannounced basis to verify continued abstention from substances covered in the Rule)
