Westinghouse Electric Corporation (Westinghouse) is making a hpecial j
appearance in this proceeding for the sole purpose of ensuring th'e$
confidential treatment of proprietary information owned by Westinghouse and supplied to this Comission by the _ Licensee, Wisconsin Electric PowerCompany.O Protection from public disclosure by the Commission's staff, as envisioned by 10 CFR Part 9 (1981), has been applied for pursuant to 10 CFR s2.790 (1981).
In any event, in view of the Licensing Board's intention to address this question and decide whether or not the pro-prietary claims should be upheld by the Board (Tr. 438-39), Westinghouse desires an opportunity to participate in any proceedings conducted by the Board to that end.
