P On Novenber 12, 1981, I received a copy of the Appeal Board's Order (dated

Novenber 10, l')G1) which was issued in the above-captioned natters. That Order grants you a 30 day extension of time within which to make the prelininary showing called for by the Appeal Boards in ALAB-654,14 fiRC (Septecher 11,1981). Since the HRC Staff had not received a copy of the
" Request of Intervenors for Extension of Tir.c to Respond to ALAB-654" (request) (filed by you on Hovember 6, 1901), I arranged on Hovenber 12, 1981 to receive a copy of the filing in question directly frw the Secretary to the Appeal Boards. Upon exanination on hoveuber 13th of the Certificate of Se;vice which accccpanied your recent request to the Appeal Boards. I noted that the Staff was not included on the Certificate of Service.
The purpose of this letter is to request that you place ry nace on the Certificate of Service for the obove-listed cases so that NGC Staff Counsel cay tir.ely receive any further filings you cay rake in the " radon proceeding".
