Dear Mr. Denton:
Enclosed is the fee required for the Zion Technical i
Specification Change which was requested on an emergency basis in reference (a).
This change has been approved via telephone communi-cation with Messrs.
T.
Ncvak and S. Varga on September 4, 1981.
It has been determined that the requested change constitutes a single Class III amendment.
The basis for this determination is that the revision of a surveillance frequency involves a single safety issue and is deemed not to involve a signi-
]
ficant hazards considerction.
In accordance with the requirements

of 10 CFR 170.12, a check for the appropriate fee of $4,000 is enclosed.
