This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. R. F. Burgin of this office on June 10, 1981, of activities authorized by License No. 13-18703-01 and to the discussion of our findings with you and members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
The inspection was an examination of activities conducted under your license as they relate to radiation safety and to compliance with the Commission's rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license.
The inspection consisted of a selective examination of procedures and representative records, observations, independent measurements, and interviews with personnel.
During this inspection, certain of your activities appeared to be in non-compliance with NRC requirements, as described in the enclosed Appendix A.
With respect to Item 2 the inspection showed that action had been taken to correct the identified noncompliance and to prevent recurrence.
Consequently, no reply to the item of noncompliance is required and we have no further questions regarding this matter at this time.
Regarding the remaining item, a written response is required.
We will gladly discuss any questions you have concerning this inspection.
