Dear Licensing Board Members:

On June 8,1981, the NRC Staff filed the " Testimony of Darl S. Hood With Respect to a Licensing Board Question Concerning Continued Construction".

Since that filing, there have been further developments with respect to the installation of 20 permanent back-up interceptor wells. Accordingly, enclosed is a supplement to Mr. Hood's testimony which addresses these recent developments.
