Subject:

Emergency Preparedness Exercises and Drills

Dear Sir:

The emergency plan exercise discussed in references (b) and (c) has been rescheduled for Saturday, September 26, 1981.

We have rescheduled this drill in consideration of the adverse financial impact which would fall upon volunteer emergency workers in the twenty local communities if tne exercise were to be held on a normal working day.

In this case many volunteers would have to leave work, thus introducing the likelihood of loss of pay.

We trust this information is satisfactory.

Sincerely yours, MAINE YANKEE ATOMIC POWER COMPANY J' -k
