Dear Mr. Engelken:

Subject:

SUPPLY SYSTEM NUCLEAR PROJECTS NOS.1/4 IE BULLETIN 80-21,._VALVEJ 0KES_ SUPPLIED BY MALCOLM FOUNDRY

Reference:

G01-81-030, letter, DW Mazur to RH Engelken, same subject, February 3, 1981.

)

Per the reference letter the Supply System indicated that all vendors supplying safety related valves have been contacted, and all but Babcock & Wilcox indicated that none had used Malcolm Foundry as a supplier of cast valve parts. The Supply System was to respond by May 22, 1981 with the B&W results.

B&W which was unable to complete the review earlier has now responded and states that none of the valves supplied to the WNP-1/4 Projects have yoke castings or parts by Malcolm Foundry.

This completes the Supply System response to NRC IE Bulletin 80-21.

f Very truly yours, i

/
