RCIC Suction Switchover, H.II.K.3.22 Per a discu'ssion with G. Mauch, Detroit Edison has revised the text and logic diagram to correct the error which was made in referring to a valve E51-F010 as the supression pool suction valve.
The FSAR will be corrected as indicated in the attached sheets.

A single failure proof automatic transfer of the RCIC suction lineup from the condensate storage tank to the suppression pool will.be An installed.
This change will utilize the existing redundant anaiog transmitter / trip whf,. %'
unit tank' level measurement which has been provided for the g
HPCI system.
A de-energize-to-operate relay logic-derived from the level measurement channels will automatically open RCIC va1ves F029 and F031 (refer to FSAR Figure 7.4-1) on low condensate storage tank' level.
The logic utilizes the full open position limit switcheb on F029 and F031 to initiate closure of F010 which is the valve in the pump 40WWM M hC=
suction connection to the cugprc:;io.. evul.
Panel status information is provided for the operator in the form of valve position indication and an alarm if the operator closes either suppression pool suction valve while the condensate storage tank level is low.
