Letter to Mr. Robert Buchholz from Lester S. Rubeastein, dated November 19, 1980 Enclosed please find 3 original copies (transmitted under separate cover are 15 conformed copies) of Amendment No. 2 to the 238 General Electric Standard Safety Analysis Report (GESSAR II) for the above numbered application.
In the above referenced letter, the Staff requested additional information regarding Mark III containment LOCA-related pool dynamic load criteria.
l In response to this information request, General Electric stated that responses would be provided in the form of an amendment to GESSAR II.
Accordingly, Appendix 3B is hereby amended and fully responds to the l
above NRC information requests.
In order to facilitate your staff's review, we have included in Attachment 0 a complete list of the NRC questions along with references to the appropriate sections that respond to these requests.
Amendment No. 2 consists of two parts a nonproprietary portion and a portion considered by te General Electric Corrpany to be proprietary.
The pages considered to proprietary are so marked and are transmitted under separate cover.

General Electric Company, applicant in the above captioned proceeding, hereby files Amendment No. 2 to the 238 Nuclear Island General Electric Standard Safety Analysis Report (GESSAR II).
Amendment No. 2 consists of two parts, a non proprietary portion and a portion considered by the General Electric Company to be proprietary.
The pages considered to be proprietary are so marked and are transmitted under separate cover.
Amendment No. 2 amends GESSAR II by providing answers to the questions contained in the Commission's letter dated November 19, 1980 pertaining to Mark III LOCA-related pool dynamic load criteria.
