SUBJECT:
WATERFORD SER SCHEDULE By letters dated May 15 and 21, the staff identified to LP&L 94 open issues in the Waterford review. A meeting was held on May 28 between LP&L and the staff to discuss the status and resolution of these issues. Approximately 50 open items and 16 confirmatory items were still open as of that meeting.
The applicant has committed to provide information which is fully responsive on 28 of these issues prior to June 20. This information will come in stages with 11 items being addresseci by May 30,10 items being addressed by June 5, 5 items by June 12, and the 2 remaining items by June 19.
Based on this schedule we suggest that the latest date for technical input to DL be delayed to June 19th, with the exception of the last two issues, which should be provided by June 26.
If the applicant provides adequate responses on the above schedule, and if extra management attention is focused on this project, we should be able to publish an SER with 15 - 20 open items by July 6.
Therefore, I suggest that we change the SER date as:

From May 8 to June 19 Issue SER:
From ay 29 to July 6.
