Enclosed please find an application from Combustion Engineering for a license to export to Spain specially designed monitoring equipment for use in the primary coolant system at the Asco Nuclear Power Plants 1 and 2.

Before taking action on this license application, we wo ild appreciate your views, in accordance with established procedures as to whether the proposed export meets the applicable criteria in the Atomic Energy Act as amended by the Nuclear Nonproliferation Act of 1978.
