Response to Violation IE Report 81-05

In the referenced respon.se to the Notice of Violation (P-81139) contained in IE Report 81-05, it was noted that "the corrective action taken to avoid further violations of this type was that the employees to whom the bulletin was assigned have been ver-bally instructed that in the future closer attention is to be made to answer-each question exactly as outlined in the bulletin."
In a subsequent telephone conversation between Mr. Hall (NRC-I&E Region IV) and Mr. Swart (PSC) it was requested that PSC document

the meeting in which the instructions were given and the atten-dees at the meeting. This is to be done no later than June 1, l
1981.
l Mr. Hall also requested that PSC's procedures be modified to in-clude provisions for a review of the contents of responses to I&E Bulletins to assure all subject matter is addressed. PSC agreed to this request and inclusion of this provision in the procedures incluoing distribution of the revised procedures should be com-pleted by August 1,1981.
