This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. R. E. Burgin and Dr. W. J. Adam of this office on April 29, 1981, of activities authorized by NRC Byproduct Material License No. 24-02564-02 and to the discussion of our findings with you at the conclusica of the inspection.
The inspection was an examination of activities conducted under your license as they relate to radiation safety and to compliance with the Conunission's rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license. The inspec-tion consisted of a selective examinatica of procedures and representative records, observation, and interviews with personnel.
This inspection also included a review of actions taken to correct the items of noncompliance identified during our May 1977, inspection. We have no further questions in regard to these matters.
During this inspection, certain of your activities appeared to be in non-compliance with NRC requirements, as specified in enclosed Appendix A.
A written response, submitted under oath or affirmation, is required.
We will gladly discuss iny questions you have concerning this inspection.
